How to reach us - Isola Polvese Resort

Isola Polvese Resort is situated within the verdant Isola Polvese, an area rich in natural, artistic and cultural beauty, strategically located between Umbria and Tuscany.

By private shuttle (made available by us at a cost of €20 per person per round trip) or by Bus Italia public ferry, it is possible to reach the island every day from 8:30 a.m. to 8 p.m. departing from the San Feliciano pier.

The entrance to the highway just 7 minutes away by car also makes it possible to reach top tourist destinations such as Perugia (20km), Assisi (45km), Gubbio, Montalcino and Montepulciano (40km), Siena (75km) but also Florence (120km) and Rome (160km).

Car

Private boat made available by the Resort at a cost of 20€ a/r per person. Departure from the San Feliciano Wharf. To be requested at the time of booking from the Isola Polvese Resort staff.

Bus

Buses with daily routes connect major Italian cities and airports with the Perugia bus station. From this station, there is a shuttle service offered by BusItalia to Magione (more information here). From Perugia, you can also take bus E017 and get off at the San Feliciano stop. Isola Polvese Resort, located 7 km from Magione Station, is accessible by cab. If you need a cab, please contact us and we will arrange to book one in advance for you.

Train

The nearest train station is Magione. From Magione station, Isola Polvese Resort is 7 km away and can be reached by cab. If you need to contact us, we will reserve the cab for you in advance.

Plane

Perugia San Francesco d'Assisi Airport is 35 km from Isola Polvese Resort. The Resort can be reached by a cab ride of about 20 minutes. If you need to contact us, we will reserve the cab for you in advance. Rome Fiumicino and Ciampino airports are 2 hours away by bus from the city of Perugia. From here you can continue by cab (with a ride of about 20 minutes), by train arriving at the Magione train station (7 km from the Resort), or by BusItalia's suburban bus E017 that takes you to the San Feliciano stop.
